hi, i'm the zombie. meet my new bestie-macbook.

chinese new year is waving us goodbye already! i'm kinda missing it. it's just a joyous occasion for me. especially catching up with my maternal side of relatives. CNY would be tiring of course if you hafta make small talk with relatives you bearly know yearly. hmm and the red packets, although i would think isn't enough to fund my monthly expenses, does help a little? wouldn't hurt to receive moolah right? tee hee hee. i'm kinda missing CNY already! of cos being a public holiday itself makes us happy already.

many were pretty down yesterday at the news of Lydia Sum's death. For someone who has entertained the people for many years and with her long list of accolades, to die young is really such a pity. This year doesn't seem like a very good start, is it? with 3 deaths we've witnessed just within 2 months..

finally, i'm taking a short break amidst my supperr busy skool schedule. this tri has made us work like a dog, man, work like a dog, really. assignment deadlines every week, the PR blog which i haven't been updating. and journalism readings to do weekly. omg, so much reading that i kinda swear off texts already. now i feel like i'm in the army myself. anticipating every weekend + every weekend seems so shortlived!

last weekend was spent on visual comm assignment, entertaining relatives visiting(maternal&paternal,busssyyyy) and my only dose of readysetglo. oh boy. i need my 8 hours rest, where has it gone to? the worst part? procrastinating the whole afternoon before settling down and concentrating on assignments after the evening. the(or rather my) mind never seems to be working in the afternoons. urgh. my bestie's my mac now. never am i online for leisure purposes anymore. it's always workworkwork. boo hoo hoo. i need to R&R! can't wait to say hello to friday!

truckloads of peektures taken over CNY and the weekends. will upload only when i'm free. which might only happen this weekend. sighhhhh. peeks taken below are fresh from the oven! snapped just today after lunch with aunty c. and bud.

hope you ladies are feeling better already. no emo-ness okay please.....life's too short to be emo. okay, that sounds like crap, but yeah, you get my drift...

i really should try sleeping before 2am on days with lighter workload. like today.

when beat!?!

I MISS beat!!!!!

it's been postponed again to....god knows when? next friday i hope?!

it's been 2 weeks since i've been yearning to go! and keat didnt make me feel any better! he messaged me awhile ago, "Ginette played hot chip! Ready for the floor! Do it do it do it do it do it now!" Now i'm hoping CNY arrives real soon. but then, deadlines would come...and that would also mean no more public holidays to look forward to. boo hoo hoo. I need to work desperately. hope this year's ang bao earnings gonna aid the financial crisis i'm facing. Yes, financial crisis.

but Sweeney Todd did make me happier. hello Mr T! =) gruesome it is but it's a brillant musical-film. we all just love johnny don't we? Fridays are not fridays anymore without my friday lover. but i'm pretty pleased with myself, we didn't stay out till the wee hours of the morning, tonight. =) keep it up!

oh my, look how much they've aged =( i think bdays aint important after your 30s since there isn't much to celebrate your getting older...

hope you're feeling better after your friday night out. i think i'm lousy, nothing i say seems to make you happier or better. sigh. i'm a lousy friend.

on a lighter note, J and daihark's arriving this sunday! although not at the rightest of time, but still yey! herman lied, he changed his mind. tsktsk. no taiwan this year lah! too broke!!

this week's gonna be busybusybusy. yet to change the sheets and clean up the room. and i've got 23432543656 assignments lining up and fucking school has yet to get back to me with regards to the exemption issue. arggh. 3 freaking weeks has past! should i get down to completing the mktg assignments as well? but i don't waste my time doing unnecessary modules! grrrr. this is so frustrating.

okay time for bed. freaking tired. goodnighty.
