beat! it!

yes, not beat literally of cos! i'm feeling love already. home club has reopened today after undergoing some works. the last beat seems to be what? since new years eve? 4 months has since past. time indeed past by in a breeze!

can't seem to get my blog back on the right track. no idea how to even tackle the problem, so now, i'll just hafta make do with this. the caption's a little out of place, i know. can't seem to make any amendments to the alignment, but not that it's an eyesore either.

last month has been great, with some catching up with old friends, SFF and drinks, drinks and more drinks. managed to catch woods&woods' new collection too. i thought it was rather impressive. the men's collection ruled the runway. i love trenchcoats! i think everyone will look so good in it. too bad we're living in spore. grrrr. props to jonathan seow for doing spore proud on the international runways.
surprisingly, the kate moss for topshop collection doesnt comprise mainly of fitted dresses/tops. it was more of flowy, loose mid-length/long dresses. the blue featured were very pretty. kind of like royal blue, blue. get it?

the start of april spelled Y-E-Y too with Rapture playing at Zouk. supposedly they were there to launch zouk's bi-monthly indie-disco nights which i saw no signs of at Velvet. they took turns to spin the deck after their gig, but it wasnt the least impressive. it sounded more like house music, if you ask me. we were left with no choice but to head to phuture which is to aunty char's delight. haha.
however, rapture was smashing!we didnt get front view but we got pretty close by the side with only the 3 of us on the podium. Gabriel was really sexy with his saxophone! we girls got so mesmerized by the way he moved while he was busy with his instruments. we saw some talents that night. someone even wanted to rip off his skinny pants! tsktsktsk. i still can't forget those shorts worn over metallic tights by harryhalim. i met fate that night too! lol.
it was a weird night with random people at phuture. that guy, who thinks he's so kewl with those 'slick' dance moves, old ah bengs, a butch- who we didn't know bought us lychee martinis(we joked that it might be poisoned), the ghostly looking paul twohill, aunty with faux boobs(i think), ..........

guess i'm quite done with idling. time to get back to work. it has gotta be a part-time job now, i guess. since i'll hafta get back to skool in a few month's time. so much for getting a proper, full-time job.

well, it's friday the 13th tomorrow. feeling spooky? feeling the Beat! can't wait to dance our silly antics. =) i miss morrissey, postal service, franz ferdinand, bloc party, kasabian, and many many!

owing to my lazy habits(one of the excuses being having to put em into a collage), you might find the peeks below to be way dated a month back. made my fingers do a little work without the help of picasa's collage feature which is quite time consuming. finally, all up! except the rapture's which i've yet to upload.

playlab

my, my. this new lappy is sure giving me probs. it made blogspot tough for moi. argh! i'm going nuts figuring what's wrong with the settings. total waste of time. at the end of it, i still can't figure where the fault lies. is blogspot not mac compatible? impossible. all my icons for texts and alignment are gone! and peeks are replaced with codes. this just confirms that i'm no IT whiz. i can't even align my texts or change the freaking fonts or colors! anyone knows what's wrong? i apologise for the jumbled up alignment below. it's in a total mess!
so.....only a few peeks tonight. shall try to figure this out tomorrow.

rewind way to 1st march.

i know these peeks are super outdated, but i decided to still post em up anyways. it's never too late to document the fun-filled times with your lovely friends. do you see love in them? it was ladies' night at the Clinic(my virgin visit there) and mos. don't we just love ladies' night at the Clinic, you know why...especially pirate b*! ;) had a tiring day out. will update my blog tomorrow. just wanna upload the leftover peeks in this old lappy tonight.

i wish i had this in my living room. though the latter's abit too small for it. tee hee hee.
