i just love this song. so sad, so touching. wonder if he was stucked in this situation before and decided to pen it. i was caught on it upon the first airplay on radio. makes one sad, one of the recommended songs if you wanna have a good cry after a bad day.

i am soooooo happy today. i got gifts from hk disneyland! as in the shop which has started its run in the airport. Bel didn't wanna tell me what she got, she just told me it should be something i like.

well, hell did i like it! haha. i was so delirious when i saw the hk disneyland plastic bag! and of cos the gift was great! so happy! thanks so much to Bel again =D and the keychain is so cutesy, i can't bear to use it! heeeee.

sorry if you spent a bomb on it. haha.

everyone has changed indeed, gwen- attached after being well-known for her singlehood, and albert- wit his new friends.

i'm glad everyone's happily moving on. =)

i'm bored sick these few days stuck at home busy rushing for MRSH survey and data-entry. except for today, where i got to eat out, but home again after that. my parents supposedly were going supamarketing but decided to just have dinner out. argh.

but it's okay, i'm not complaining.i was pretty tired in the noon, sleep deprived the night before.
argh. something is wrong wit me. i should really start practicising sleeping and waking like a normal human being.

too much 5am bedtimes has made me roll for 1-2 hours last night(which i actually went to bed at 2plus) before waking at 7plus for skool. wasn't really tired in the morning but i guess it got to me after i got home.

and the curry-don(or whatever you call it) hasn't digested since 10pm's dinner time. argh. i need to sleep earlier. desperately.

bumped into raymond at the skool bus-stop today and he just tagged me a 'hiao lady'. apparently, he thought i put on mascara or eye shadow? i was like oh shux now my dark rings are looking that bad. but he still doesn't believe and insists i put on some eye make-up.

actually it ain't that bad huh? strangers will think i put on some make-up. now i can start saving for my shanghai trip instead of spending on eye make-up? haha. shiteee.

so excited for the shanghai trip! was a mad rush to get the form yesterday and asked my parents to sign it for me.

effie: eh sign for me the shanghai trip form leh.

mum: papa got say he's gonna pay meh?

effie: aiya 600plus only! after subsidized 50%!!! must go! plus project on it is gonna be 30% loh!

mum: papa says year end wanna go hk. so if we go, who pay for you? he is not gonna pay twice you know! so much!

effie: aiya you all always say only la. won't go one.(excitement born within me)

mum: we'll go la! me and papa planned that time already.

effie: huh really ah? oh yeah. then how? just sign first then say la.(excitement rising already)

omg.*elated* i really hope we are going again. though no summer sales but at least the weather is good! unlike singapore! i love the cold mornings..aaahhh and the morning tim sum breakfasts and the gloria jean's morning breakfasts and free surfing online...ahhhh... im suffering from the hk syndrome again. :(

guess i really need to get a job after my skool ends. make some cash for the trips. if i'm goin hk as well lah. otherwise i can dream about it. it's been a whirlwind 3 months with no time to sideline at all.

maybe that's an excuse? but i'm pretty sure i'll have totally no time for myself if i were to sideline this sem. and wit the integration presentation on the way, gawd, totally busy!

well, no matter what, i really gotta get a job after the exams. if i can get one, that is. argh. oh yeah and i guess it's to shanghai after the exams. how am i gonna be able to grab a job?

NLB

slacked my ass off at home today. oh my. laziness has again forced me to skip lectures. oh yea and EM.

woke up to a rainy morning yesterday and thought to myself, 'ah, what the heck. today's lesson requires us to being out lappy. so damn heavy, plus the rain?'

and silently, my brain chanted, 'sleep in....sleeeeep in....sleeeeeeppp innnnn.....sssllleee...ZZzzzz'

supposed to start doing the fieldwork at 2.30 but ended up later. met a few interesting people wit us trying out luck interviewing other surveyors at toa payoh interchange. ended up all the surveyors began talking rather then reaching out for respondents.

haha. well lets see, there's surveyors from AIA- who wanted our number so as to pull us in after we grad- and Nuskin-who also got our number so as to invite us for free trials. of cos we didn't give our numbers to the AIA guy. no way are we gonna be insurance agents!

eerk. and what's friendster gotta do with recruiting us one year later? networking? no thanks!
free trial from nuskin?hmmm maybe my mum would be interested. haha.

and there was this rather wierd transit security unkle who kept asking us questions. darn irritating. and this really nice malay couple who gave us plenty of feedback about our survey.
oh yeah and this really nice housewife lady who even chatted with us about dolls that she bought and how she does customisation and puts them up for exhibitions. interesting.

conducting fieldwork is good-you get to meet different kinds of people, experience different responses ( mostly good and bad ones), test your patience( with irritating people) and test your courage( to approach strangers).

it can be bad too- spend umpteen hours searching for the right people( cos' we're each given a specific no. of age groups and education level to match) and bumping into rude people( who i haven't really encounteres yet,thank god.

but overall, we did a pretty good job getting 28 people to respond within just 2 days.
hee!

now, i need to key in the stupid codes into excel which is gonna make me cross eyed once again. but it's different now, unlike the 108 datas i gotta key in da last time. phew!

and i am so happy. i managed to grab 'the curious incident of the dog in the night-time' and 'to kill a mocking bird'. and they're both new books! haha!

the new library is nice indeed. but the han's there is kinda stingy? though i like the billboard menu with big white block letters.
a classic.

but erm, ain't the reference books a lil too many?much more then the range of books we can borrow!
i think they should include a live-in hostel to accommodate the avid readers and researchers who desperately need the reference books for a few days.

utterly selfish. why not allow us to borrow em home instead???!

now. the question is: will i be able to squeeze in enough time for the new books?
argh.

can i buy more time please?

effie finally got to catch alot like love today! yey! it's ssooo sweet! i like the way they 'stretched' the relationship. although it's some on and off flings yet you know they do have a thing for each other. the thing called love.

oh yeah and did i mention ashton was cute? oh no. the show wasn't nice solely because he was in it okay! but the fact that i just love the storyline.

oh yeah and i think he looks geekily cute 6 years ago. wit the long hair and oklahoma sweater. haha.

but of cos' he look even betta now. heee

and i love amanda peet's home! da one that's Melrose Place lookalike.

anyone watched that show before? Melrose Place? it was shown back during the 'Beverly Hills 90210' time. haha. old skool shite.

i like the way the whole outdoor area looks after you enter the gate wit flowers hanging everywhere. and the enclosed area within the apartments. look sooo cosy, welcoming and italian.

sigh.

you'll neva get that in singapore. unless you're some rich fart who lives in at least a resort-themed condo.

i'm so gonna get fat. had both meals at fast food outlets today :(
lunch at Macs while doing the blardy Marketing Communications creative brief and dinner at BK.

not that i'm not fat now. but it's a worse case now! grrr.
and not forgetting i'm kinda feeling heaty now. 2 meals worth of fried food PLUS Lay's yesterday night before i went to bed.

shux. please do not get sick effie. you can't afford it.

i've still got 2 more packed weeks to come. who says that things are gonna go smoothly after term tests? damnit.

let's see:

1. i've gotta complete the MCOM's storyboard by this sunday.
2. Sales Management interview wit my sis's friend-Sales Manager- betta go well. please answer my short interview! i'll be dead if you don't! that assignment amounts to 20% of my module. *prays to god silently*

oh and these 2 gotta be done by this coming Monday. freak.

and come next week, 20 surveys has to be done. ain't sure which part of north yet. maybe toapayoh? but there's so many ah peks and aunties there! doubt they'll help with it.

and wit criterias to fulfil? we're so dead.

after the 20 are done, we gotta do data-entry. this sucks.
no rest. :(

but then something did lift me up a lil.

bumped into the dumb one just now. wanted to hide but then no where to hide when i bumped into him da 2nd time. strangely i had this feeling i'll bump into him when i was near Checks.

oh gawd i didn't notice he look dumb till yan told me. lol.

effie: that is my ex- crush!
yan: huh??!why he look so dumb one? you like those dumb ones ah? your taste lidat one ah?! hahahaha!!
